The Microchip Technology Inc. MCP355 devices are 2.7V to 5.5V low-power, 22-bit delta-sigma A/D converters. The devices offer output noise as low as 2.5 µVrms with a total unadjusted error of less than 10 ppm. The family exhibits less than 6 ppm integral non-linearity (INL) error, 3 µV offset error, and 2 ppm full scale error. The MCP355X devices provide high accuracy and low noise performance for applications where sensor measurements such as pressure, temperature, and humidity are performed. With the internal oscillator and high oversampling rate, minimal external components are required for high accuracy applications. The fully differential analog inputs make it compatible with a wide variety of sensor and measurement applications. The MCP355 devices operate from -40°C to +125°C and are available in the space-saving 8-pin MSOP and SOIC packages.

The MCP2551 is a high-speed CAN transceiver, fault-tolerant device that serves as the interface between a CAN protocol controller and the physical bus. The MCP2551 provides differential transmit and receive capability for the CAN protocol controller and is fully compatible with the ISO-11898 standard, including 24V requirements. It will operate at speeds of up to 1 Mb/s.

The HEF40106B provides six inverting buffers. Each input has a Schmitt trigger circuit. The inverting buffer switches at different points for positive-going and negative-going signals. The difference between the positive voltage (VT+) and the negative voltage (VT-) is defined as hysteresis voltage (VH).

The HEF40106B may be used for enhanced noise immunity or to “square up” slowly changing waveforms.

It operates over a recommended VDD power supply range of 3 V to 15 V referenced to VSS (usually ground). Unused inputs must be connected to VDD, VSS, or another input.

• The HEF4051B is an 8-channel analog multiplexer/demultiplexer with three address inputs (S1 to S3), an active LOW enable input (E), eight independent inputs/outputs (Y0 to Y7) and a common input/output (Z). The device contains eight bidirectional analog switches, each with one side connected to an independent input/output (Y0 to Y7) and the other side connected to a common input/output (Z).
• With E LOW, one of the eight switches is selected (low-impedance ON-state) by S1 to S3. 
• With E HIGH, all switches are in the high-impedance OFF-state, independent of S1 to S3. 
• If break before make is needed, then it is necessary to use the enable input.
• VDD and VSS are the supply voltage connections for the digital control inputs (S1 to S3, and E). The VDD to VSS range is 3 V to 15 V. 
• The analog inputs/outputs (Y0 to Y7, and Z) can swing between VDD as a positive limit and VEE as a negative limit. 
• VDD VEE may not exceed 15 V. Unused inputs must be connected to VDD, VSS, or another input. 
• For operation as a digital multiplexer/demultiplexer, VEE is connected to VSS (typically ground). VEE and VSS are the supply voltage connections for the switches.

• The ISO3082 and ISO3086 devices are isolated full-duplex differential line drivers andreceivers while the ISO3082 and ISO3088 devices are isolated half-duplex differential linetransceivers for TIA/EIA 485/422 applications.
• These devices are ideal for long transmission lines because the ground loop is broken toallow for a much larger common-mode voltage range. The symmetrical isolation barrier of the deviceis tested to provide 2500 VRMS of isolation for 60 s per UL 1577 between thebus-line transceiver and the logic-level interface.
• Any cabled I/O can be subjected to electrical noise transients from various sources.These noise transients can cause damage to the transceiver and/or nearby sensitive circuitry ifthey are of sufficient magnitude and duration. These isolated devices can significantly increaseprotection and reduce the risk of damage to expensive control circuits.
• The ISO3080, ISO3082, ISO3086, and ISO3088 device are qualified for use from –40°C to+85°C.
